Results of the ISSHA Executive Elections

Ballots for the election of the new ISSHA Executive were counted during the Cape Town XI International Conference on Harmful Algae and the results were announced at the ISSHA General Assembly.

Following are the results of the election:

PRESIDENT: Pat Tester (USA)

VICE-PRESIDENTS: Gustaaf Hallegraeff (Australia) and Beatriz Reguera (Spain)

SECRETARY: Tracy Villareal (USA)

TREASURER: Nina Lundholm (Denmark)

The new Executive will serve a three-year term, starting with the General Assembly in Cape Town.

We thank members of the previous Executive and wish the new Executive best wishes. They will have the support of a strong Council.
